What's a solar mass?


A solar mass is an unit of measure used in Astronomy and Astrophysics to measure comparatively the mass of the stars and another astronomic members which are very massives.

We take the Sun as reference becouse the Sun is the most nearby to the Earth. Therefore, an unit of solar mass is the same that an unit of mass of the Sun:
